I came here on a Saturday for dinner with my roommate for Oakland Restaurant Week and we immediately noticed that this place was packed and busy. Even though we had a reservation we still had to wait a little bit to be seated but it was fine since we weren't in a rush and they seemed to be a little understaffed. The decorations inside were also pretty cool and the space itself was really colorful. Once we were seated we ended up getting some drinks as well as a starter, an entree, and a dessert per person as part of their special menu for Oakland Restaurant Week which came out to about $40-$50 ish per person. A lot of their items were sold out by the time we got there but nonetheless the food that we had was still delicious. It's also almost right in between the 12th and 19th Street BART stations in downtown Oakland.

Came here last night for dinner for ORW'25. They were the only restaurant that had a last min reservation so why not. Glad we made a reservation because they were packed and remain busy until closing Their restaurant week menu was pretty good 3 course for ~$45 per person. If you get certain dish there's an additional. We ended up getting the crab and pork siu mai (8/10, sauce was good, lots of crab)thing, the crispy papaya salad (10/10, best thing I ate at this place), the khao soi rib (7/10, needs more flavor), lobster and crab rice noodle (7/10, also need more flavor) and a couple pies for dessert a mango and chocolate and both were phenomenal They were busy so the service was kinda slow but the servers were nice so that made up for it. May be will be back when craving that crispy papaya salad! Worth it for ORW

Story time! Some friends and I gathered on this Sunday evening to partake in a parent's night out. Dinner at Pierre Pierre and a concert from one of our favorite artists. Well, Pierre Pierre fell flat making us wait over an hour past hour reservation time to the point of concert starting so we decided to leave. A quick yelp search led us to Pintoh a couple blocks down through a tireless windstorm and we were there. COLD AND HANGRY! We were seated right away and enjoyed a fantastic meal! We ordered Tom Kha, Catfish, blue crab fried rice, chicken wings, roti, and pad see ew. Let me tell you. As soon as we took our first slurp of that sweet and savory Tom Kha ALL of our anger and disappointment went away. We laughed and enjoyed this amazingly delicious meal. Although we missed the opening act we got to our concert with plenty of time to spare to see the main attraction. Thank you Pintoh for turning around what could have been a disastrous night out into a truly memorable experience. We will be back for sure!

The restaurant is a cute hole in the wall with vibrant decor. The papaya salad was so so good, I'm literally thinking of this salad right now as I type this. The service was great- super quick and friendly. I'll be back for sure!

A nice and chill little place! Great prices for delicious food!! Quick service too! I'm glad we chose dishes different than our regular picks, we enjoyed some great flavors. My sister recommended pintoh and I think it was a great stop for dinner before a concert at the fox.

This visit was already starting off well when my friend and I were lucky to snag a parking spot right in front of the restaurant! I finally strayed from getting my usual orders and tried something new: the boat noodle soup. It was perfect for a rainy day. There was plenty of meat and just the right amount of noodles. I still had enough for leftovers. My friend got the moo ping, which she also enjoyed. The presentation was beautiful. We came for lunch so the restaurant wasn't super busy. The service was great and the waiter was super friendly and checked on us multiple times. An overall great experience and I hope to come back soon!

This review is really delayed, but I ordered ahead for the boat noodle soup and the kemao beyond goong. The food was ready almost 15 mins ahead of schedule, Kemao beyond goong: They don't allow modifications but it was unfortunately too spicy for me. Couldn't even eat the peppercorns. What I could make out of it was good. Boat noodle soup: savory but also kind of sweet. It is good, wish they had a vegan/vegetarian version.

Khai Sol - requested no spicy oil. It was HUGE Bowl of egg noodles in curry. Appreciated they don't add MSG. Wished there was more pieces of chicken and vegetables, felt it was mainly noodles. Shrimp chips came with tasty sauce. Fun decor, like the hand drawn artwork of various dishes. More affordable than Farmhouse Thai.
